Dondelinger Chevrolet GMC
Bemidji, MN 56601 Driving Directions
A Bemidji Family. A Bemidji Dealership.
More Than 50 Years of Service.
Dondelinger Chevrolet GMC has been part of the Bemidji community since 1974.
That year, Wayne and Carolyn Dondelinger purchased the established Dibble Chevrolet dealership in downtown Bemidji. With just 18 employees, they began building what would become a family business serving generations of customers throughout the Bemidji area.
Growing With Bemidji
For 15 years, Dondelinger Chevrolet-Buick operated in downtown Bemidji. As the dealership and the community grew, the business moved to its current location at 2310 Paul Bunyan Drive NW in 1989.
That move marked an important step in the dealership's growth, giving Dondelinger more room to serve its customers and build the full-service operation it is today.
More than five decades later, the dealership has grown from those original 18 employees to a team of more than 50 people.
Here for Bemidji
Today, Dondelinger Chevrolet GMC is a full-service Chevrolet and GMC dealership, offering:
- New & Used Vehicles
- Financing & Leasing
- Certified Service & Parts
- Collision Repair
But our history is about more than cars and trucks. It's about the people who have worked here, the customers who have trusted us, and the community that has supported us since 1974.
From a small Chevrolet dealership in downtown Bemidji to the dealership on Paul Bunyan Drive today, Dondelinger Chevrolet GMC has grown alongside the community we call home.
For more than 50 years, we've been proud to be a part of Bemidji—and we're proud to continue serving the generations to come.
A Family Business
Family has always been at the center of Dondelinger Chevrolet GMC.
1st Generation
Wayne and Carolyn built the dealership while raising their family in Bemidji.
2nd Generation
Today, their son Tim Dondelinger owns and leads the dealership, continuing the business his parents started more than 50 years ago.
3rd Generation
And the next generation is already part of the story. Tim's son, Andrew, works at the dealership, carrying the Dondelinger name into its third generation in Bemidji.
Community Commitment
While the dealership has grown and changed over the years, the commitment to being part of the community has remained constant.
The Dondelinger family and dealership have supported local organizations and programs focused on:
- Youth programs and activities
- Local educational initiatives
- Environmental preservation
- Support for people with disabilities
Thank you for being part of our story.
