The Upcoming 2025 Chevrolet Models
It just seems as if Dondelinger Chevrolet customers are always asking us about the newest and latest Chevrolet models. As the preeminent Chevrolet dealership in Brainerd MN, we love discussing what's to come. With 2025 much closer than people realize, Chevrolet has recently provided several important updates on certain 2025 models.
While not all models have been defined as yet, the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox, 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV, and the 2025 Chevrolet Suburban all have. We'll deep dive into each of these incredible Chevrolet offerings and see what the 2025 models have in store for Dondelinger Chevrolet customers.
2025 Chevrolet Equinox
The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox undergoes some new upgrades for the upcoming year. A little over 2 & ½ inches wider than the 2024 Equinox, the 2025 model also sees an increase in ground clearance at just under 0.75 inches. This wider stance gives the 2025 model an increase in both available cargo space (63.5 cubic feet) and interior driver and passenger space. However, it’s the exterior that gets most of the changes.
Looking to make the Chevrolet Equinox more imposing, Chevrolet has redesigned the front fascia and maximized the wider stance with some unique design features. All this ends with a more chiseled, refined style for 2025. Keeping its high-performance powertrain from 2024, the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox’s 1.5-liter Inline-Four turbocharged engine generates 203 pound-feet of torque, 175 horsepower, and a 1,500-pound towing capacity.
The most important changes are the introduction of a new base model ACTIV trim with its revamped ACTIV grille, roof rails, suede microfiber Evotex interior, heated front seats, and a much larger infotainment system. Gone is the smaller 7-inch infotainment system from 2024. In its place is a more impressive, larger, and more user-friendly 11.3-inch diagonal touch-screen high-definition (HD) digital infotainment and navigation system.
2025 Chevrolet Tahoe
The 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe looks to build upon its success from the 2024 model with some substantial changes, including a redesigned exterior and a new upgraded interior with more space. This increase in space means Dondelinger Chevrolet will have the option of a seven-passenger or eight-passenger seating configuration. Iconic interior features such as the Tahoe’s 7-inch HD navigation and infotainment system with MyLink, its rear-vision camera system, Bose® audio system, and OnStar® safety features remain. However, it’s the powertrain that sees most of the changes for 2025.
The 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe removes the 2024 model’s LM2 Duramax Diesel 6.2-liter V8 that generated 277 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. In its place is the new 3-liter Duramax 6-cylinder LZ0 turbocharged engine that jumpstarts the horsepower to 305 while seeing torque substantially increased to 495. The 5.3-liter V8 and the 6.2-liter V8 will make a return in the 2025 model year.
2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV
With its 440-mile range on a single charge, its 785 pound-feet of torque, 754 horsepower, its 10,000 lb maximum towing capacity, and a 0 to 60 in under 4.5 seconds, the 2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV is the most exciting 2025 Chevrolet. This incredible all-electric Chevrolet Silverado is powered by an Ultium electric platform with a 200 kWh battery and electric motors in the front and back.
With a bed size that allows for storage of items up to 10 feet, 10 inches long, and a multifunctional, easy-to-use Multi-Flex Midgate, the 2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV is a guaranteed winner. This all-electric Silverado also has an out-of-this-world 17.7-inch diagonal interactive high-definition (HD) touchscreen positioned alongside a nicely designed center stack and a more than accommodating center console.
2025 Chevrolet Suburban
The 2025 Chevrolet Suburban carries over the same trim selection from 2024 with the LS, LT, RST, Z71, Premier, and High-Country while also getting the same 17.7-inch digital HD infotainment system as the 2025 Silverado EV. Much like the Chevrolet Tahoe, the 2025 Chevrolet Suburban removes the LM2 Duramax engine from its lineup and replaces it with the LZ0 Duramax engine configuration (305 hp / 495lb-ft of torque).
